Terms overview
Using the site should be straightforward.
These terms are written for people using ENT Induction as a practical educational resource. They sit alongside any checkout terms, course-specific conditions or written agreement that applies to a particular course, teaching package or institutional arrangement.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you access or use entinduction.co.uk, ENT Induction courses, learning resources, downloadable materials, interactive modules, forms, articles and related website features.
ENT Induction is a medical education platform created by Mr Robert Maweni. References to “ENT Induction”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the team responsible for operating the website and providing the learning materials.
By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you buy access to paid content, the checkout information and any course-specific terms also apply.
2. Educational use only
ENT Induction provides educational materials for learners and clinicians interested in ear, nose and throat learning. The content is not personal medical advice, clinical consultation, diagnosis, treatment advice or a replacement for local protocols.
In clinical practice, always follow local policy, senior advice, supervision arrangements, professional standards and the needs of the individual patient.
You must not use ENT Induction as the only basis for patient care decisions. The site may discuss clinical themes, but it does not create a clinician-patient relationship.
3. Accounts, passwords and course access
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- Your account is for your own use unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
- You must not share, sell, transfer or lend your account access.
- We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account has been misused, shared, compromised or used in breach of these terms.
Some learning materials may be free, sample-only, time-limited or part of a paid course. Course availability, module structure and access periods may change as the platform develops.
4. Payments, refunds and cancellation
Prices, discounts, course access terms and payment methods are shown at checkout. If VAT, tax or additional payment information applies, it should be shown before you complete your order.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not ask you to send card details by email or by public forms on the website.
Digital course access
For UK consumer purchases, you may have a 14-day cooling-off right for some distance purchases. For digital content or online course access, this right may not apply, or may end, once access starts if you have agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that cancellation rights may be affected. Any specific checkout wording or course purchase terms should be read carefully before purchase.
Refund requests
Refund requests should be made through the contact route on the website and will be considered against the applicable checkout terms, consumer rights and the status of course access already provided.
5. Intellectual property and learning licence
Unless stated otherwise, all website design, course text, images, videos, diagrams, module structures, interactive cases, downloadable resources and other learning materials are owned by ENT Induction or licensed to us.
When you access the site, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning or, where clearly allowed, for agreed teaching preparation.
You must not:
- copy, redistribute, publish, sell or make public copies of paid materials;
- record, scrape, mass-download or mirror the platform;
- remove credits, notices, watermarks or copyright information;
- use the materials to create a competing product or course without written permission.
6. Acceptable use
Please use the website respectfully and lawfully. You must not attempt to disrupt the platform, bypass security controls, reverse-engineer restricted areas, upload malicious code or misuse forms.
You must not submit patient-identifiable information through contact forms, comments, course discussions or learning tools. If you need to discuss a clinical situation for educational purposes, remove identifying details and follow your local information governance rules.
Where the platform allows comments, uploads, messages or other submissions, you are responsible for the material you provide and must ensure it is lawful, accurate enough for its purpose and respectful of others.
7. Availability, updates and third-party links
We aim to keep ENT Induction available and useful, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, replace, withdraw or reorganise resources, modules, media and links as the platform develops.
The website may link to external resources or third-party services. Those websites and services are controlled by their own providers and may have separate terms and privacy policies.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, ENT Induction is not responsible for loss caused by using the platform as a substitute for clinical judgement, local guidance, senior supervision or emergency support. The materials are provided for education and training support.
If you are using the site as a consumer, your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
9. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Contact ENT Induction through the contact route provided on the website. Please do not include patient-identifiable information in any website enquiry.
